I hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween! Last year we didn't have but 10 trick or treaters so this year I just made some cute goody bags for the neighbor girls and then we are heading out to my brother's house followed by A's cousins for some games and a fire!
Growing up my dad worked at a local haunted house. Here is a picture that made it in the newspaper. Its from 1987 when I was only 17 months old.
I always knew it was my dad. I wasn't crying because I was scared, I was crying because I didn't want my photo taken (hard to believe!). The caption in the paper said that Frankenstein was using me to warm up the crowd at the haunted house. This has always been one of my favorite pictures.

Welcome baby
So I realized I never posted about one of my best friends baby being born! You might remember from my post when I talked about Steph's baby being due this month. Well today was the original due date for the little man, but she talked with her dr and they decided to induce. So on Monday the 19th Steph went into the hospital. She text me all day giving me the play by play of what was going on. When she first went in I sent my text back with my prediction of time, and weight (2:35pm & 7lbs 2oz). The day went on and she text me with how much she was dilating, and then she text me that is was showtime around 230! At 3:26pm Austin Louis made his way into this world weighing 7lbs 3oz (I was SO close!) Anyway, enough with the boring stuff here are some pics of the cute little guy..that is totally giving me baby fever!
His face in this one is too cute!
Look at all that hair!
I have a feeling there will be many more pictures of Austin in the near future ;)

shoes
I am not a 'shoe girl' by any means. I always go on the hunt for a cute, fun pair, but I always come home empty handed. The other day I got a 30% off coupon from DSW. I thought I would go and check out what they had since I got the coupon. Well I found a pair that I fell in love with. Sadly, none of the stores in my area had my size :(. So I came home to see if they had them online, must of been my lucky day because they did. Being the good little shopper I am, I looked around for more coupon codes since you can use up to three at DSW. Long story short I got the shoes for $30 shipped!! They are for $50 at DSW with a retail of $65. I am so excited and can't wait for these beauties to show up at my doorstep!

.Love.
I got this from Becky from Goin' To The Chapel and I thought it was a cute post. Since today is A & mine 'dating anniversary' (we don't really celebrate, but we didn't put all those years in not to count them :)! ) Anyway on to the questions!
♥How long have you been together?
We have been married for 1 year 1 month and 15 days =) We have been a couple for 7 years to the day!
♥ How long did you know each other before you started dating?
I think it was just shy of a month. Once we met we were inseparable, we hung out together everyday.
♥ Who asked who out?
He was cute and asked me out. He took me on a scavenger hunt for clues and puzzle pieces that when placed together said be mine? Aww right?! We were 16 and 18-he knew how to charm me :)
♥ Who made the first move?
He did.
♥ How old are each of you?
I am 23 and he is 25
♥ Did you go to the same school?
High school no, college yes-but it just worked out that way. He was already going there for the first 2 years of us dating and when it was time for me to go to college it was the only one in town with my major.
♥ Are you from the same home town?
No, but they are very close.
♥ Who is the smartest?
Well that depends on the topic!
♥ Who majored in what?
His was web design mine was interpreter training (sign language)
♥ Who is the most sensitive?
Me for sure.
♥ Where do you eat out most as a couple?
We go to lots of places. A few of our favorite places are local like Red, or Montgomery Inn.
♥ Where is the furthest you two have traveled together as a couple?
St. Thomas USVI but hopefully soon it will be Ireland.
♥ Who has the worst temper?
Hands down me.
♥ How many children do you want?
I think I would like 3, I think he would rather have 2.
♥ Who does the cooking?
He does, but I try to help!
♥ Who is more social?
This is tough. He probably is more than me though.
♥ Who is the neat-freak?
He likes things in order, where I don't mind, I like a clean house and will clean at random times, where he doesn't think about it.
♥ Who is the most stubborn?
I would have to say me.
♥ Who wakes up earlier?
I do. Weekdays I am up by 5:45 at the lastest-he gets up around 7 (I think! I'm always at work so I really don't know!) Weekends I'm a morning bird and get up around 730,where he likes to sleep in.
♥ Where was your first date?
First date...well we both just happened to be at the same haunted house the night after we met-that is where we really clicked. But the whole reason I met him was because I needed a date to my junior year homecoming so that would qualify as the first date.
♥ Who has the bigger family?
He does by far.
♥ Do you get flowers often?
Not really, but thats fine with me. They just die anyways but someday's it is nice to get them!
♥ How do you spend the holidays?
Since both families are here we go to all of them. On Thanksgiving we go visit his dad's side then come back for my mom's side. His mom will have her side on the day after Thanksgiving. Christmas is divided up also. Christmas Eve we go to his dad's side, then my mom's side. On Christmas day we go to both parents. Oh and somewhere in there we go to my dad's house. The holidays are always a crazy time, but that's what makes it worth it all.
♥ Who is more jealous?
Neither of us really get jealous, but if I had to pick one I'd say me.
♥ How long did it take to get serious?
This is kinda tough, we were young when we got together so its hard to put a time on when it got serious. I mean, we knew we fell in love in the first few months of dating but at 16 you don't really think of serious 'adult' relationships. I did know though that we were a perfect match and would always get married, corny I know :) !
♥ Who eats more?
He does! Even after he is sooo full from dinner he always has room for candy, or cookies!
♥ What do you do for a living?
He's a user interface something or other-ie web desginer. I am a sign language interpreter at a high school.
♥ Who does the laundry?
We both do. Sunday is laundry day. Normally he will get it started and we share the folding. Its different everytime.
♥ Who’s better with the computer?
Well, he knows the in's and out's of the computer and all the programs, everyone calls him with questions! But, I think I can hold my own and know pretty much.
♥ Who drives when you are together?
He does and we take his car.
♥ What is "your" song?
I don't think we have a specific song, so I will just say that anything Kenny Chesney is our thing :)
I am going to tag anyone else that wants to fill this out! Go ahead and fill it out, its fun!

Catching up
2 weekends ago Andy & I went to Canal Days in Metamora, IN. We found some great items.
Here we are on the GIANT lawn chair!
This is my fall decor part 2. The garland is what we bought in Metamora.
I also got this willow tree. I've been wanting one for a while and found this one for $9
But the best deal of the day was this old lid. Andy spotted it and I was impressed! It was only $10! So we returned the old bin (that was $36) and put this one out. I like this one much better.
Then last weekend we went to the pumpkin farm! This is our favorite fall festivity. For 24 hours we had rain, so Saturday morning we woke up to a muddy mess! Mud and all we still had a great time and got some good lookin' pumpkins. I can't wait to bake some seeds!
Here we are at the farm!
I wanted some different color pumpkins this year. As soon as we walked on to the farm I saw the beautiful white one and I knew it was mine. I thought the muted orange pumpkin was neat, too! Andy always love the skinny ones so that's the one he picked.
And lastly, I was super excited to see a brown box on my door step this afternoon. My camera finally came! I was a little upset it didn't get in on Friday to take it out over the weekend, but I couldn't do anything (UPS wouldn't budge- :( it just saw at UPS all weekend )
I've been playing around with it and reading the manual. I'm waiting for this book to come in so I can learn some more. I have so much to learn!

Eeek!

I'm hoping it will be at my door by the end of the week!
Any blogger out there that have this camera have any tips?

Hello October
Seriously, I feel like it just wrote the first September entry just the other day. It's crazy how fast time really does fly. Here is what I am looking forward to this month:
The pumpkin farm:
then the apple farm:
It's been a family tradition since I was a tiny tot and I love that we still do it today! And hopefully I will have my new camera by then!
Also my good friend Steph is due with baby #2! I can't wait to meet baby Austin. She had a maternity session done by my step-mom.
And lastly my BFF's birthday! We both love our birthdays very much and always celebrate in style!
